This Privacy Policy applies to the Duluth Harbor Rescue Mission, Inc. (“DHM”, “we”, “our” or “us”) website at www.duluthhm.org (“Site”). This Privacy Policy also applies to information you voluntarily provide to us related to a donation. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and share and protect information you provide to us. If you do not agree with the terms of our Privacy Policy, you should immediately stop using or visiting this Site.

DHM uses your information to operate, maintain and provide to you the features and functionality of this Site, including for the purposes for which you provided it and to process and respond to your inquiries, to complete a transaction, to contact you, to update you about DHRM news and special events, to administer and troubleshoot this Site and as otherwise stated in our Privacy Policy as permitted or required by law.

DHM does not sell, rent, lease or otherwise share your name, phone number, physical address or email address with third parties except as otherwise provided in our Privacy Policy.

How we protect information

We have put in place physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from volunteers and donors. We use Internet encryption software, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, when collecting or storing sensitive data. No Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Email sent to or from this Site may not be secure. You should use caution whenever submitting information online and take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.

We respect your privacy and recognize that you may wish to limit the ways in which we contact you. Simply send an email to privacy@duluthhm.org with the following information:
