As our hearts are continually burdened to serve nutritional food, we have planned to upgrade our kitchen and our 501(c) 3 public charity status to a 501(c) 3 Para-Church status, which is common for Gospel Rescue Missions. When the process is complete, we will be able to cook nutritional food, which will be exactly as it should be.
Now, with that being said, due to Covid-19, we missed out on a couple community fundraisers that would have generated about $8,000.00. Hence the reason for our CHRISTMAS IN JULY CAMPAIGN. To read the full newsletter about this campaign, click the pdf.
We are asking today for your best financial gift just like at Christmas time. Your support will compensate monies lost during the pandemic shutdown and allow us to do what is necessary to begin cooking nutritional meals for our city’s homeless.
